Box lunches were provided by McBrayer volunteers for the more than 150 participants. Although no one took home the new Lincoln MKX from Spartan Lincoln-Mercury there were a few close calls making the 17th hole a very popular spot. There were over 50 hole sponsors adding their support to Keith's campaign. When the participants finished the day there were many sun reddened faces and a multitude of tall tales of near misses and close calls indicating that "A good time was had by all". Many participants said they would like to make this an annual event. The evening was highlighted by a catered sit down dinner in the spacious Eagle's Brooke Country Club banquet room. Over 225 supporters joined Keith and his family to enjoy the fellowship and the evenings activities. Fund raising activities entertained supporters as they dined on a superb banquet consisting of two main courses and all the amentities diners could want. Dinner guests were also outspoken about having had a very good time and were eager to acquire campaign materials as they left for the evening.
